VAPPRO 747 is a corrosion control, scale suppressant and coolant additive for closed loop cooling circulating systems. It is a water-based fluorescent green free-flowing liquid specially formulated for corrosion and scale inhibition in the closed loop circulating cooling system found in ship engines and generators.
VAPPRO 747 protects wet liners from cavitation and provides maximum efficiency heat transfer process for the engine.
VAPPRO 747 is formulated with proprietary carboxylate compound and is compatible with all materials including aluminum, steel, copper and solder alloys.
VAPPRO 748 is a yellow water-based free-flowing liquid specially formulated to protect ferrous metals and equipment from corrosive solutions containing more than 500 ppm of Chloride. It provides long-term protection of equipment against salt water, brine, and other highly corrosive solutions.
The formulation of VAPPRO 748 provides good protection for equipment used in deep and hot wells in both gas and oil applications. It does not contain toxic substances like Chromate, Barium Bromate or any other type of ozone-depleting substance.
VAPPRO 748 is also fortified with proprietary biocide for combating the growth of bacteria, algae, and slime.
VAPPRO 749 is a water-based free-flowing liquid specially formulated to protect ferrous metal and equipment from corrosive solutions containing more than 500 ppm of Chloride. It provides long-term protection of equipment against salt water, brine and other highly corrosive solutions containing dissolved sulfide and halogens.
The formulation VAPPRO 749 combines both VCI and contact inhibitors to provide good protection to equipment used in deep and hot wells in both gas and oil applications.
VAPPRO 749 does not contain toxic substances like Chromate, Barium Bromate or any other type of ozone-depleting substance. It is biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
VAPPRO 838 is specially formulated to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosive solutions. It is designed to provide long term protection for these metals in fresh water, steam and glycol closed loop systems. An ideal replacement for nitrite chromate and phosphate-based formulations.
It is environmentally friendly without sacrificing operational efficiency or economy. It offers effectiveness similar to chromate treatment without the problems of fouling encountered in conventional non-chromate systems.
Vappro 838 provides both contact and vapor phase inhibition to fully protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Through solution contact, its physically adsorbed inhibiting layer prevents corrosion and pitting on metal surfaces. At the same time, its vapor phase action prevents corrosion to parts not accessible by direct solution contact such as headspaces in standby systems.
VAPPRO 838 also incorporates an anti-scalant to maintain heat transfer efficiency.
